Behncke and Cavender Pack Their Bags to Represent the USA
Two of Central Division's and Milwaukee Lake Park's finest will be heading west in March... so far west they will end up in the east. Max Cavender is on the left and Rob Behncke is on the right. (Don't worry, they clean up pretty well.)US National Champion Rob Behncke has been selected as one of four men to represent the USA in Tiger Bowls and China Bowls from March 11 to 17. These tournaments will be held in Hong Kong and in Shenzen China. It should be a great adventure. Rob won the 2015 US National Championships pairs with his partner Bob Schneider. He has also taken home a number of Central Division championships.Max Cavender will be playing in the World Junior Championships in Queensland Australia from March 9 to 15. Maxwell finished tied for 5th in his previous appearance in this prestigious event. His recent accomplishments include skipping the winning pairs team in the 2015 Southwest Open with his partner, the well known Canadian veteran Lyle Adams, and finishing second in both the US National Championships Pairs and the US Open Pairs. Max is also the current Central Division Open singles champion.Best of luck to both competitors or, in Rob's case, Zhù nǐ hǎo yùn.
