Witt named to women's Team USA

Anna Witt (Milwaukee) has been named to the USA national team to compete against Canada in a test match in September 2010. Dr. Witt, a family physician, has been bowling for 0nly three years, but her consistency and accomplishments on the green were recognized by the selection committee in naming Witt to the team. Witt has represented Central Division in the National Championships three years in a row. In 2009 she teamed up with fellow Milwaukee bowler, Glorianne Mather, in the pairs event, completing the tournament with a record of 1-6 but losing 3 games by a total of 4 points. Another member of the Central Division, Kathy Alton, was named as an alternate to Team USA.
