Two more wins for Cavender at World Junior Cup

Finding his form at the World Junior Cup in Warilla, Australia, Max Cavender, 18, of Milwaukee won his two latest matches in straight sets against Hong Kong China 8-6, 10-9 and Canada 8-5, 9-5. Winning three of his last four matches, Cavender has a record of 3-3 and sits in 5th place in his section with one match remaining.
Cavender is the first US representative in recent memory to complete in the under 25 world juniors tournament.
In other play, US representatives, Dee McSparren, is 2-4 in group play, and Charlie Herbert is 2-5.
