Cavender finishes 3-4 at World Junior Cup

Max Cavender dropped his final game at the World Junior Cup in Warilla, Australia, to New Zealand by a score of 9-13, 4-13. Cavender completed the round robin section play with a 3-4 record and 6th place. Australia's Ben Twist will play Craig Watson from Scotland in the final of the junior division of the World Cup.Cavender acquitted himself well in his first international tournament, competing against some of the world's best junior lawn bowlers.In other action, Dee McSparren has a record of 3-7 with one game to play, while Charlie Herbert won three of his last four games and finished 4-6 in section play.
