Milwaukee's Max Cavender and partner Charlie Herbert from California took the $1000 first prize at the Santa Barbara CA Memory Glass Pairs event over the weekend.The 19 year old Cavender is fresh off a third place finish in singles at the U.S. Championships. Next up for Cavender, who is on something of a lawn bowls tour, is the U.S. Open taking place in Southern California Sept 17-23.
