Schneider & Nelson to compete in international play

Two Central Division lawn bowlers will represent USA in international play this fall. Bob Schneider (Milwaukee, Wisc) has been selected to play on Team USA in the 13-team field at the Atlantic Championships, Oct 17-30 in Cyprus. Schneider is scheduled to play skip in the Fours and Triples events. Click here for all the Atlantic Championship results.

Steve Nelson (Chicago, Ill) is playing in the the Michael-Ashton Phillips (MAP) International Challenge, October 9-15, taking place in Orange County CA. Nelson will play singles and lead in pairs in the 20-man field that includes players from seven countries. Click here to follow the action at the MAP. Schneider and Nelson are members of Milwaukee Lake Park Lawn Bowls Club. The Milwaukee club is a 100% member of the Central Division in the U.S. Lawn Bowls Association.
