Milwaukee's pairs teams place 4th at Southwest Open

Milwaukee lawn bowlers were in fine form at the Southwest Division Open tournament recently completed at the Santa Anita Lawn Bowls Club in Arcadia CA. Bob Schneider of Milwaukee teamed up with Aaron Zangl of Hermosa Beach CA (above left) to place 4th in a field of 53 men's pairs teams. Not to be outdone, fellow Milwaukee bowlers Glorianne Mather andAnna Witt (above right) claimed 4th place in the women's pairs event.Central Division's Schneider and Witt play for Team USA in international competition and will compete against Canada later this year in the North American Challenge.
