Central bowler member of winning fours team at Southwest Open

Central Division's Steve Nelson joined three other lawn bowlers from across the country on the winning rink's team at the Southwest Division Open recently held in Arcadia, California. Competing in a field with 18 other rinks team, the winning squad went 5W-OL-1T on its way to the title.Pictured at left: lead Steve Nelson (Milwaukee), second-lead John Johnson (Seattle), vice-skip Abe Kaplan (Atlanta), skip Neil Furman (Denver).
