Schneider Places 4th in US Open Men's Pairs

At the 94th US Open Lawn Bowls tournament, Bob Schneider of Milwaukee Lake Park LBC teamed up with Dennis Mijnheimer from the Netherlands to claim 4th place in an international field of 64 pairs teams. A Grand Finale for all men's and women's events was held at beautiful Laguna Beach, California. In the bronze medal pairs match-up, Schneider and Mijnheimer lost to Loren Dion of Santa Barbara, California, and Tony Scott from Australia.235 bowlers competed in the seven day tournament in Orange County, California September 8-14. Competitors included both men’s and women’s division bowlers from the US, Australia, Canada, Netherlands, Northern Ireland, and England. Competition took place across seven Southwest Division clubs in the Orange County / Los Angeles area. Also competing in the tournament were Milwaukee Lake Park bowlers Steve Nelson, Paul Legwinski, and Crandall Hays.
