Dr. Witt M.D. delivers bowls as well as babies

Dr. Anna Witt, M.D., arrived at the green for the Potlicker Pairs tournament in Milwaukee, Wisconsin just one hour after delivering a baby boy at a local hospital. Already a few minutes late for the start time and with no time to change clothes, Anna took to the green still dressed in her hospital scrubs. After a bit of good-natured ribbing about her excuse for being late and her opponents waving off the traditional handshake, Anna got down to the task of playing bowls and winning games. She and her partner, Paul Legwinski, finished the weekend tournament in a three-way tie for second place.Anna has represented the Central Division six times at the U.S. National Championships and been named twice to Team USA.
