No knock on socks at Central Division Open

Lawn bowling dress codes were challenged on the weekend at the Central Division Men's Pairs tournament as three bowlers showed up in uncoventional foot coverings. The Laws of the Game were scoured to see if the bowlers were in violation of any sock regulations. Calls to the head umpire of Bowls USA went unanswered, so in the end the matter was settled with an agreement by the three to submit to a photo. Fashion models included Jimmie Wolterman, Carl Landgren and Jeff Wolterman. Did you know that  an ornamental design on the ankle or side of a sock is called a clock?
